Case Study
Cultify is a personal UI/UX project focused on creating a mobile experience that allows users to discover cultural events and concerts based on their location. The app also integrates a social layer where users can join fan communities, share content, and stay updated.
Event platforms often feel transactional and impersonal. They focus heavily on sales but lack community-building features or personalization based on location. Users miss out on relevant experiences nearby and have limited interaction with like-minded fans.
Designing a seamless navigation system that supports both event discovery and social interaction without cluttering the user experience. Another challenge was to build a visually appealing interface that feels modern yet friendly and culturally rich.
I conducted competitive analysis of platforms like Eventbrite, Fever, and DICE, identifying areas where user experience could be more engaging. I also explored how social networks integrate community features, drawing insights from platforms like Reddit and Discord to enhance community interactions.
I designed complete flows for each tab in the bottom navigation: Home, Explore, Communities, and Notifications. Each screen was crafted with a clean layout, clear hierarchy, and intuitive interactions.
